Seniors Drop In Day a Huge Success!

We work with awesome peeps!

On March 14th local seniors had the opportunity to get active and sample some of the classes that we have to offer the active older adult.  We filled the room and every seat with over 25 new and regular clients attending and participating.

We started off with a Chair Zumba!  You wouldn’t believe the dance moves that you can do while seated in a chair!  Carrie Ellingson had everyone moving.  The smiles and giggles filled the room!

Bev McCallum and Joanne Hommy took it from there with a demonstration of our Seniors Functional Strength program and a little taste of how active seniors can get their cardio on with a modified step class.

Krystal Roth wound us all down with a short Chair Yoga class to finish out the afternoon.  Chair yoga is a perfect place to start if you have difficulty getting up and down from the floor or feel that your balance needs a bit of work.

We wrapped up with some great conversation, coffee & snacks and a chance to meet some of our amazing instructors!
